Our Brief

We were asked by CityVet’s CEO to search for a Dallas-based Chief Marketing Officer with a specific and unique skillset that required experience in:

  • building brand awareness in multi-site healthcare/retail
  • people management & team-building skills
  • recruitment marketing exposure (crucial skill)
  • data-driven and strategic

Our Process

Following the discovery meeting with the CEO, we got to work and began the search process, starting with the input of all criteria into our A.I. database, Big AL, which uses data-driven insights to find qualified candidates for specialized roles – faster, and more precise. Within just 60 minutes, we had sourced a diverse list of compatible candidates most likely to succeed in this role, filtered by the target criteria.

Our Solution

After identifying, shortlisting and interviewing an initial list of candidates, we introduced Ami Anderson to CityVet. Ami had head of marketing experience in several healthcare industries including dental, home health, hospice, and hospitals; and had most recently served as CMO of a large dental group, Mint Dentistry. Here, Ami had demonstrated all the skillsets needed – and most importantly – had lots of experience in recruitment marketing, where she had created 232 personalized videos to encourage past employees to return, rewrote job descriptions to include motivational insights and led the nominations and communication for the company’s ‘Candidly awards’. With an MBA in Marketing, Ami also possessed the strategic and data-driven acumen the client was looking for.
