Our Brief

Returning to Parzival Parzival seeking a new strategic hire, CityVet’s CEO had a very specific brief: they needed to find a visionary Chief Operating Officer with vast experience of the veterinary market, who could be frequently present in the Dallas office.

Our Process

This was a difficult search due to the strict non-competes within this market and the niche vet experience required. However, after inputting of all criteria into our AI database, Big AL – which uses data-driven insights to find qualified candidates for specialized roles – we had sourced a diverse list of compatible candidates most likely to succeed in this role, within just 60 minutes. Following this, we shortlisted, vetted and interviewed the top candidates, and had managed to narrow this down to introduce: Dennis Horter.

Our Solution

We introduced Dennis Horter to CityVet. Dennis had spent his entire career in the veterinary field. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and most recently Chief Operating Officer at Encore Veterinary Group, Dennis was an accomplished animal health expert with a diverse operational, business, medical and research background.

Bringing a broad understanding of all facets of veterinary care, from general practice to emergency to specialty care, made Dennis the perfect fit for this role.
